GONZALO FERNANDEZ- BIO 

Fernández has been a financial and accounting executive in both Fortune sized companies as well as growth businesses.

He wrote “Estados Financieros”, UTEHA, México, Third Edition, 1977. He is a coauthor of “The Handbook of Financing Growth”, Marks, Robbins, Fernández, Funkhouser and Williams, John Wiley and Sons, Inc, New Jersey, Second Edition, 2009. Two other books, “Fouling in Business and College Athletes”(2019) and “Cuba’s Primer” are exhibited at this Book Fair.

Mr. Fernández was born in Havana, Cuba, and is an American citizen. Education: Bachelors in Accounting, Havana University.

Worked for Procter & Gamble in Cuba for ten years. Other work experience in Madrid, Spain, with Peavy Company for two years; Joined ITT Corporation in offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Raleigh, NC, for 17 years, as Vice President and Controller.

He is a Past President of the Raleigh Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.

Mr. Fernández was a Partner with High Rock Partners, Inc., Raleigh, NC, as a financial consultant, until retirement.

Trabajó para Procter & Gamble en Cuba durante diez años. Otra experiencia laboral en Madrid, España, con Peavy Company durante dos años; Se unió a ITT Corporation en oficinas en Buenos Aires, Argentina; San Juan, Puerto Rico; y Raleigh, NC, durante 17 años, como Vicepresidente y Contralor.

Es ex presidente del Capítulo Raleigh del Instituto de Contadores Administrativos.

El Sr. Fernández fue socio de High Rock Partners, Inc., Raleigh, Carolina del Norte, como consultor financiero, hasta su jubilación.
