Each year our book fair identifies some of our friends that can’t join us physically but we would like to share their works.
Cada año, nuestra feria del libro identifica a algunos de nuestros amigos que no pueden unirse a nosotros físicamente, pero queremos compartir sus trabajos.
Grey Acosta
Gregoria Acosta (Grey), nació en la ciudad de Santo Domingo, República Dominicana. Se graduó como Licenciada en Literatura en la Atlantic International University, USA. Desde muy temprana edad mostro gran pasión por las artes y la escritura, escribiendo su primer poema a la edad de 11 años, fue cuando murió un tío muy querido al que todos llamaban:”Bao”, poema que tituló: “Adiós tío Bao, algún día andaré tras tus huellas.” Ha escrito decenas de cuentos, relatos, micro relatos, poesías, Haikus y una novela, entre otros. Es miembro de la Asociación de Escritores y Periodistas Dominicanos (ASEPED). Es miembro de la Dayofword.com. Es embajadora de La Palabra y embajadora del Idioma Español, por el Museo de la Palabra y La Fundación Cesar Egido Serrano, Madrid, España. Ha sido finalista en varios concursos internacionales.
Estudió El Arte De Escribir en la Academia Humanista. Estudió el arte de Pirograbado, con el profesor Justo Hernández, y al mismo tiempo, recibio lecciones de dibujo y pintura, con el profesor Félix Berroa, en la Escuela Vocacional “Emma Balaguer De Vallejo”, cuando aún era adolescente, en la que obtuvo el título de Especialista en Pirograbado, graduándose con el más alto merito, razón por la que fue entrevistada en el programa” El Gordo de la Semana”, que se transmitía por Radio Televisión Dominicana, en Canal 4. Ha recitado sus poesías en varios eventos nacionales e internacionales.
Ha publicado varias obras, entre ellas: una novela titulada: MARCADO POR EL DESTINO, TESIS DE LITERATURA CON UNA OBRA LITERARIA INCLUIDA, CIUDAD DEVASTADA,LLÉVAME CONTIGO A TU ALTO APOSENTO, Y LA VIDA, UN POEMA SIN FIN Y DOCE POEMAS DE AMOR Y SUPERACIÓN, entre otros, disponibles en Amazon.
Gregoria Acosta (Gray), was born in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She graduated as a Bachelor of Literature from Atlantic International University, USA. From an early age she showed great passion for the arts and writing, writing her first poem at the age of 11, it was when a beloved uncle who everyone called: “Bao” died, poem she titled: “Goodbye Uncle Bao, one day I will walk in your footsteps. ”She has written dozens of stories, stories, micro stories, poems, Haikus and a novel, among others. She is a member of the Association of Dominican Writers and Journalists (ASEPED). She is a member of the Dayofword.com. She is an ambassador for the Word and ambassador for the Spanish Language, for the Museum of the Word and the Cesar Egido Serrano Foundation, Madrid, Spain. She has been a finalist in several international competitions.
She studied The Art of Writing at the Humanist Academy. She studied the art of Pyrography, with Professor Justo Hernández, and at the same time, she received drawing and painting lessons, with Professor Félix Berroa, at the “Emma Balaguer De Vallejo” Vocational School, when she was still a teenager, where she obtained the title of Specialist in Pyrography, graduating with the highest merit, which is why she was interviewed in the program “El Gordo de la Semana”, which was broadcast on Radio Televisión Dominicana, on Channel 4.
