BIO:

Jiménez was born in Mexico and was brought to the United States at 2 years old by her parents in hopes of a better life. She grew up in the public-school system and learned that the only way to unite with her family was by celebrating the union of her two cultures. After a long 28 years without seeing her grandmother her new book “Lupita and the Magic of México” united them.

She says: “In writing this book I learned that love has no borders. Lupita and the Magic of Mexico celebrate the beauty of two cultures. Mi mission in this life is simple, I am here to spread Love, Unity, and Peace in all that I do and I’m incredibly thankful for that opportunity.”

After growing up in the United States, Lupita finally has the opportunity to explore her birthplace of Mexico with her mother, Ma. Lupita and Ma go on an adventure to learn about the beauty Mexico has to offer. Along the way, they see the culture of Mexico as they explore a parade, the music, and even a castle! Lupita and Ma journey across their home city and find that the magic they were looking for may not be tied to one place at all!

Jiménez nació en México y fue traída a los Estados Unidos a los 2 años por sus padres con la esperanza de una vida mejor. Ella creció en el sistema de escuelas públicas y aprendió que la única forma de unirse con su familia era celebrando la unión de sus dos culturas. Después de 28 años sin ver a su abuela, su nuevo libro “Lupita y la magia de México” los unió.

Ella dice: “Al escribir este libro aprendí que el amor no tiene fronteras. Lupita y la magia de México celebran la belleza de dos culturas. Mi misión en esta vida es simple, estoy aquí para difundir Amor, Unidad y Paz en todo lo que hago y estoy increíblemente agradecida por esa oportunidad”.
